With bright colors and friendly shapes Amsterdam based Illustrator Sue Doeksen has created the character ‘Tongo’ and his wonderful world. From the early stages in her career her work has covered different types of techniques from physical, digital, pencil-drawn, paper-cut, and animated. Her unique trademark is playful compositions with bold, simple friendly shapes.

About

Music for kids is our mission. For more than 15 years, we have specialized in teaching music, with a focus on classical music for children in digital media. Our aim is to promote (classical) music from early childhood onwards. We develop attractive products for children, and fill them with music. With child-friendly illustrations and small interactive games, we arouse curiosity and enthusiasm. Classical music becomes enjoyable and natural for kids to listen to. And many parents and grandparents might enjoy learning with them! Classic for kids and the entire family.

Every day, our products inspire hundreds of children. Teachers in nurseries and primary schools regularly work with our materials. And every day, we get as many letters from children as we do from enthusiastic parents.

With many award-winning projects under her belt, founder Ruth Bersch-Gómez is a pioneer of music education in digital media. Since studying piano at the Academy of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany), Ruth has developed many digital projects for children. Her team of experienced illustrators, designers and programmers is always looking for new ways to harness the playful curiosity of children in digital media for music. Learning with fun is the credo of Firstconcert Productions, a young company from the famously creative city of Berlin.
